Pacu Jalur is a kind of traditional rowboat race typical in Kuantan Singigi region which until now still exsit and develop in Riau province.
This annual ceremony held to celebrate the Independence Day of the Republic Indonesia on the date 23-26 August.
The length of the boat used in this race ranged between 25-40 meters with a number of athletes 40-60 each boat.
